Drilling fluids mud cleaner are combined of desander, desilter and an underflow shale shake, at the same time mud cleaner has the higher cleaning function compared with separated desander and desilter. The mud cleaner takes the underflow from a bank of hydrocyclones and introduces the slurry to a very fine, pretensioned vibrating screen. The expensive liquid phase and most of the barite pass through the screen and back into the system while the larger solids are discarded.

KOSUN Mud Cleaner's structure is compact, it occupies small space and the function is powerful. Mud cleaner is the ideal device of the second class and the third class solids control to treat the drilling mud.

1. KOSUN Series Drilling Fluid Desander and Desilter Integrated Mud Cleaner, or Integrator for short, is used for separating the solid-phase granules in the drilling fluids after being treated by the vibrating screen.
 

2. The mud cleaner can integrate a group of desander cyclones and desilter cyclones on one vibrating screen. The drilling fluids will firstly pass the desander cyclones or desilter cyclones for separation, with overflow returning to the circulatory system and the bottom flow screened and treated by the vibrating screen. If necessary, the vibrating screen of the integrator could be used as the forth stage vibrating screen.

3. The cyclone is made of wearing-resistant special polyurethane material, which has good performance in fluid erosion resistance. The feeding port is designed to have a round and smooth transition, beneficial for improved separation efficiency. It is smooth in structure and rational in design.

4. The desilter is distributed in a round pattern, making the cyclones bear uniformed pressure and flow.

5. Different quantities of desander cyclones and desilter cyclones can be supplied according to the customers requirements.
