Shear pump is developed on the basis of existing centrifugal pump theory via some improvement to develop a new and efficient centrifugal pump. It is designed for quick preparation and disposal of drilling fluids in the solids control system. The main application is to shear polymer clay, it can mix materials effectively, fully hydrate materials, save materials, shorten drilling fluids preparation time, supply good drilling fluids performance to drilling operations.
KOSUN Shear Pump's impeller is specially designed to have a wider flow pass and smooth vanes, with larger flow area and smooth fluids pass, making the shear pump reach the internationally advanced level in efficiency and energy saving which is 10% higher than similar products. The shear pump has adopted a shell thicker than the normal one, with rational pass and less turbulence.
