On 1st August, ZJ40DB Arctic Solids Control System would be put into operation in Lukoil oilfield of Russia and was being debugged for the last time in the workshop of KOSUN Yongle Solids Control System Factory. Soon afterwards, it would be sent to a Russian Drilling Company.
This set of KOSUN 1000GPM Orbit Arctic Solids Control Equipment is designed especially to match the Russian Drilling Company's 1000HP Arctic Drilling Machine made by drillmaster in Italy.
This set of system has got such features as below:
1. KOSUN 1000GPM Orbit Arctic Solids Control System can do group drilling for 10 wells at the same time. No.1 tank of the solids control system is connected at its end via a jointing lug to the hydraulic cylinder, which will lead it to move on the orbit. It reaches a well every 5 meters and it will have gone through 50 meters long after all the wells have been drilled. Meantime, in order to ensure a safe operation of the system, tank connection has also been put there between NO.1 and No.2 tanks.
2. The main body of No.1 tank is welded together by Q345D low alloy steel, thus being bestowed with high intensity and ability of resisting low temperature.
3. This system is matched with a thermal insulation system, which may shelter the system, the relevant cable tanks and exposed steam pipelines under the shed.
This system is matched with a steam heating system and 2 steam heating machines put on the surface of each tank for a better operation of the heating system. The system can make sure the solids control system works normally under -45 ℃ in the alpine regions, like, Siberia, Russia, etc.
Key words:
1. KOSUN is the short name of Xi'an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd., which was established in the year of 1992. Its headquarter is located in Xi'an China. It is listed among the first group of manufacturers of oil drilling shale shakers. Besides, it is also the specialist in centrifuge production, the leading pioneer in China's solids control field and the expert in drilling waste management. Its business primarily covers the area in Mainland China, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Middle East, South Africa and U.S.A..
2. Lukoil is the second largest oil company with its output also ranking the second in Russia. What is more, it is also the second largest crude storage company. Now its headquarter is in Moscow.
3. Arctic Solids Control System: it is also called the low-temperature solids control system. The key technique applied for its design and production is to ensure all the parts work normally under -45~50℃ and its lowest storage temperature is -60℃. Therefore, it would be harder to opt and process the materials as well as to design the thermal insulation and heating system for it than for the normal solids control system. The key skills used in Orbit Solids Control System are the structural design of tanks and process design of system. Its volume was determined by the volume of drilling fluids needed to fill the borehole after the finishing drilling starts to pull out, for instance, a 4000-meter drilling rig would apply a 127-micrometer rod to drill down to the bottom. The external volume of a one-meter rod equals 0.0127 m2, thus the volume of drilling fluids concocted in the system would be 50 square meters. However, that would not be enough since loss of drilling mud during purification and some problems of the system might drain away certain amount, and the influence brought by the working area, stratigraphy and bottom temperature might do the same.
4. Solids control system: The key of solids control technique lies in the equipment's performance and quality. The system is predominately constituted of three parts, the circulating tank, the drilling fluid purification system and the electric control equipment. Among them, the purification system comprises shale shaker, desander, desilter, degasser, centrifuge, centrifugal pump, agitator, mixer, etc. If needed, it is also possible to deploy a cutting recovery and waste management devices for the environmentally sensitive areas.
